This project comprises the full demolition of a redundant fire damaged public house into 13 new apartments for affordable rent.
Planning was granted in early November 2018 with a start on site just a few weeks later. Works are due to take approximately 12 months with a contract value of £1.2m.
The project is situated within a busy residential location, and as such, our engagement with the local community has been critical through pre-construction and since the building works have commenced.
SSC carried out Principle Designer duties for Crossfield Group, additional to their H&S guidance they also provided PM support and advice. Working in partnership with our site team.
Their expert team have made the whole project run smoothly, safely, on time and on budget.
SSC Management Group are to provide Senior PM support to Crossfield Group assisting in bringing the project in on time, on budget and safely. SSC have also been appointed Principle Designer and Health & Safety lead on this scheme.
Crossfield Group have worked closely with SSC Management Group on a number of schemes prior to Albert Road. We’ve always found SSC to be extremely professional and due diligent in their work which is why we appointed them as Senior PM support to Crossfield, Principle Designer and H&S on Albert Road scheme.
